Expandable 4-Reader IP Networked Access Controller for AxTraxNG™ Server Software
The Rosslare AC-425x-B Access Door Controller Intelligent 4-Reader Expandable Networked Access Controller is powered by Rosslare AxTraxNG™ Server for Microsoft Windows to deliver full featured access control and automation capability via 10/100 Ethernet port.
The AC-425IP-B (TCP/IP) and AC-425-B (RS-485) control panels have one expansion slot for mounting one MD unit. The expansion modules – MD-D04B (4 readers + 4 outputs, 4 inputs) and MD-DIO84B (8 EOL supervised inputs and 4 outputs) – can be mounted in under one minute. Rosslare offers a variety of ordering options, including DIN-panel only and set up on an ME-1015 advanced power supply lockable enclosure. The system provides an ideal modular and expandable solution for commercial and institutional needs.
When the Rosslare AC-425x-B Access Door Controller is expanded with a MDD04B, it can support up to 8 readers on one 10/100 Ethernet port. Up to 32 AC-425-B controllers may be connected on Rosslare’s RS-485 serial port for a total hardware network of 256 readers on the serial bus.
This professional-grade access controller has advanced online and offline logic capabilities, using non-volatile memory in case of total power loss. The panels support 30,000 users, 128 access areas, 128 access groups, 128 time zones, 64 holidays, and 64 panel automation links. They feature 4 readers, 4 outputs, 4 inputs, buzzer indicator output, and LED indicators for TCP/IP, serial bus, and output status.
The panels feature a secondary RS-232 serial port enabling a PC connection via a standard serial COM port. The reader ports support industry standard Wiegand inputs from 26-Bit to 64-Bit and 8 keypad formats. When connected to AxTraxNG™ Client/Server PC for Microsoft® Windows® 7/8/10 operating systems, networks of up to 1023 panels may be achieved with the AC-425IP-B.
